The Butcher Shop
When we decided to set up our meat counter, we made a decision to make a difference and to try and go the ‘extra’ mile. Whether you are a chef, a master of the grill, or a novice, we knew that a great tasting piece of meat would be the beginning and the end to what you need for a fantastic meal.
We believe that people should be able to depend on the expertise of a neighborhood butcher. So we hired one to do just that. Build your trust, keep the meat fresh, provide great quality, give good value, and give good advice. We love to hear about how your dinner was, how you prepared the meat, and what new things you are interested in trying. To do the right things for our customers is our goal.
Deli & Bakery
Try before you buy!!! We created a deli unlike most you will find in Langley. It is a classic deli counter with artisanal foods. We make our famous sandwiches every morning in-store, as well as hand-crafting a delicious assortment of fresh salads and mains daily. It changes every week, and we also have a wonderful selection of traditional deli meats and cheeses to treat yourself to whatever your heart desires. Try not to betray those incredible tastes, and ask us to sample you before you buy. We are more than happy to do so. You shouldn’t miss it.
And if that’s not enough, you may notice a delightful aroma that is almost irresistible in your wander through our store. It’s the smell of fresh bread, baguettes and buns. We bake our bread in-store each and every day, 7 days a week. Our bread may still be warm when you buy it.
Call us anytime, and ask about our catering program, or let us create something for any occasion you may have. A scrumptious sandwich tray, a dessert platter, a wonderful fruit selection, the list goes on. How can you resist? Something you could create in your own kitchen, but without all the work – and mess. What could be better?
It ALL started with a Farm Market. In 2008, we took a location that was very well known as a fruit and vegetable market. Our values are strong on supporting local growers, and to give our customers the freshest and selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. To accomplish this, we receive produce delivery to Moreno’s every single day. “From Farm to your fork, “without the hassle of you having to find the farm, because we have already done that.
We offer our shoppers what each season brings, and as LOCAL as we can find. Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Lettuce, Tomatoes, all from the local area, as well as Apples, Cherries, Peaches and more from the farms just up the road in the Okanagan Valley. We go right to the grower, and bring it direct to you, as we choose to support local farmers as much as we can. Buying from the source can save you money. Freshness, value, and variety, sounds good to us. How about you?
